The JISC infoNet service will be developed to support and enable planners, implementers and practitioners in further and higher education to understand, innovate and use new technological developments that support learning, teaching and business processes.
Netskills develops and provides quality Internet training services to facilitate the effective use of Internet and Intranet technologies for teaching and learning.
The JISC Legal provides legal resources for FE and HE, particularly for those working in Information Services. JISC Legal aims to give non-lawyers the information they need to make decisions, stay inside the law and assist with legal compliance issues. It provides up-to-date information on the law as it affects ICT users throughout the sector via its Web site, workshops and email enquiry service.
The Plagiarism Advisory Service provides generic advice and guidance on all aspects of plagiarism prevention and detection to institutions, academics and students.
Procureweb is a JISC procurement support service, for the UK Higher Education Sector, UK Further Education Sector and Research Councils. Based at Cardiff University, Procureweb provides tools, information and support to anyone who participates in the procurement process.
TechDis provides information and advice on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to support students and staff with disabilities in the HE and FE sectors. The TechDis Accessibility Database provides an on-line resource of information about products, which are available to assist those with disabilities.
